Anahi Opens Football Season Tonight Against Redlands, 7:30 P.M. La Palma R Anahi's Colonists open their 18th football schedule tonight against the Redlands Terriers at La Palma park—game time is 7:30 P.M. Coach Buck Weaver has forged one of the potentially great teams of his career at Redlands. Weaver starting lineup will include the lettermen from last year’s squad, with only Quarterback Pratthelm and Left Hall Garcia being the nonlettermen. Anahi will field but six lettermen off the 18th squad and two JV lettermen. Dean Philipp and Mike Troop are going to all-league and all-CIF honors this year. Mike will be back at his old stand, while Deag has taken on the new chore of fullback in Sea Ray. At least three Anahi men will miss the call tonight. Non-Brown, Henry Herrera and Mickey Goydt are only one hop from the infirmary. Brown and Herrera have lame backs and Goydt has a real crazy knee and bum ankle. Coach Van can ill-afford to lose this trio just as Redlands comes to town. Better Seating Seating arrangements at La Palma park have been greatly improved for this season’s football games. The Colonists student body will occupy 100 seats on the north side line, while the visiting student body will use a small section in the Meachers on the south side. The entire grandstand will be set aside for non-student body fans, plus several hundred good seats starting at the east 30 yard line. These seats will be set at a northeast-southwest angle for better viewing, and have greatly increased the seating capacity.
