Judges Announced Three prominent Anaheim businessmen have been selected to be the impartial judges. They are Oscar Schultz, George Strachan and Howard Loudon Jr. Their decisions will be final. The contestants will be judged and eliminated until only eight girls remain to compete for the golden crown. From these eight girls, one will be selected as "Miss Frigidaire" to ride as Queen on the Ballman float in the Halloween Parade and the remaining seven beauties will ride as princess. The girl chosen as Queen will receive a $300 Frigidaire automatic washer and each of the seven princesses will receive a beautiful Longine-Whitnauer wrist watch. The Frigidaire automatic washer and Hurst Jewelers is cooperating with Bill Ballman in securing the Longine-Whitnauer watches. The winners will be announced Oct. 14. Ballman's beautiful float will be titled, "Stairway to the Stars," in the "Out of this World" division of the Halloween Parade to be held on the evening of October 31. The float will be 30 feet long, 8 feet wide and 12 feet high. Television Coverage Probable Although it has not yet been confirmed, there is a strong possibility that this year's famous Anaheim Halloween Parade will be televised, bringing the gala event to millions of Southern California residents. So, if you want to wear Frigidaire's golden crown and reign as Queen on the "Stairway to the Stars" float, be sure to get your entry in as soon as possible. Remember to bring a full-length picture of yourself and come in the company of one of your parents and perhaps you'll win the Frigidaire automatic washer and reign supreme the night of the Halloween Parade.
