The notices were sent to 39 captains, 466 commanders, 688 lieutenant commanders, 743 lieutenants and 46 other officers of all ranks who will be retired. All the services are being forced to dismiss reserve officers to make room for new ROTC graduates. (UP)—Eight jetces of the Korean war will send their Sabre jets diving faster than the speed of sound to open the Air Force part of the National Air Show here Saturday, the Air Force announced today. The eight heroes of MIG Alley will climb their F86 Sabre jets to 43,000 feet, and then plunge into the dive until they break the sonic barrier, the announcement said.
