Dungaree Diplomat All of this was interesting. Wheeler, whose business is know all about things that come from the good earth. He has seen the last two years in Peru with field party of the Bureau of American Affairs. His job been that of a dungaree diplomat a representative of the State parthenot who helps Peru farmers to help themselves in agricultural and natural resource development program. The program has been under way for years and will continue. Wheeler, who will return to Peruvian assignment shortly made it clear that the project not a "giveaway." "We're just there to help," said. "The Peruvian farmers buy their own machinery. We hire them to improve their grazing lands and their herds and flocks. We are getting them away from the oxen and onto tractors and threshing machines. Our main objective is to help the farmers to increase their food production." Governmental Team Peru provides most of the funds for the work, while the U.S. resentsatives "stand by and give advice, and even do some of the work—in dungarees." The program embraces just about everything that grows there: Cattle, sheep, poultry, and in the fields, sugar cane, cotton, corn potatoes (Irish, of course), beans and many kinds of produce. There also are fruits, like bananas and oranges, plus coconuts. Consoweld, Nu-Art & Textollite Floor, Wax & Cleaners, Glamorene Carpet Cleaner Heath's Linoleum & Shade Shop PHONE 7012 312 W. The nationwide revision of premium rates announced yesterday by the National Bureau of Casualty Underwriters and the Mutual Insurance Rating Bureau will bring the cost of insurance more into line with recognized driving hazards. The board and bureau represent 213 mutual and stock insurance companies. Adult pleasure drivers will benefit most from the new rate structure, which will become effective as soon as it is filed with state insurance authorities, in the next 30 days in some state. They will receive a rate reduction of up to 15 per cent. Young drivers who are free from family influence fall at the other end of the rate scale with premiums two and a half times those set for the best risks. These drivers are involved in more accidents than any other driving group.
