Hiden, as Mr. Rifffraff, was accepted because he wanted cash; and Art Cohen as Ms Flapper was also accepted. Ames moved that the case diamissed because of the ju poor quality and the judge thit out of court. The trial fried the lesson, said Ames, citizens should not shirk the duties as jurors. It has been a long time since such a clever story has been presented on the spoken stage of this city. Last night's performance demonstrated to the people of this city what a splendid organization the Keogh Players are composed of. It can well be seen after last night's enthusiastic reception that the Keogh Players have already won popularity with the people of Anaheim. Tonight will be the last time to see "Hal' o the Hills," so don't fail to give yourself a real treat. Dodges Noose Again SPRINGFIELD, Ill., April 14.—Bernard Grant again for a time dodged the noose when Governor Len Small today granted him a new stay of execution until Aug. 14. Grant was convicted with Walter Krauser of the murder of a Chicago patrolman and both were sentenced to the gallows. The state supreme court affirmed decision in Grant's case, but for several months failed to act in the Krauser case. H. Martinez, rival real estate operator, who is being held in the county jail on a charge of murder. Silvia was taken to the county hospital for treatment, but upon showing signs of improvement was removed to his home yesterday. An inquest is to be held at 4 p.m. at the mortuary in Anheim of Backs, Terry and Campbell, Coroner Charles D. Brown announced. Information in the hands of the officials is to the effect that Martinez, who appeared at the jail to give himself up and who received knife wounds, shot in self defense when Silvia attacked him with a long stillette. Enmity is said to have arisen between the two real estate agents because a Mexican circus located on Martinez' property, to the chagrin of Silvia.
