THREE DIE IN CRASH
SEATTLE, Wash., Feb 2
Three persons are dead here today as the result of a spectacular auto accident Sunday afternoon when a couple plunged into Elliott bay at the foot of Lenora-st and drowned the trio. The dead are: John A. Peterson, insurance man, his wife, and her aunt, Mrs. Clara Fitch, of Toronto, Canada.
The Peterson automobile skidded on the slippery track of Railroad-are and crashed thru a filmy railing between two trestles, according to witnesses.

GROWERS PLAN WINDBREAK TOUCH
In response to many requests that have been received by county agricultural agent during the past month, another win-break field tour has been scheduled for Wednesday, February at 1:30 p.m. The tour will start from the place of Chas Wagmire located on the Yorba Linda blvd one-quarter mile east of Valencia st., north and east of Placentia. The Wagner ranch is particularly noted for the rapid growing Athle windbreak which was planted some two years ago. Many growers have inquired about adaptability of this desert tree; Orange-co., conditions. As opportunity will be afforded at the meeting to see how the Athel, Tamarix, actually grows in Orange-co., under favorable conditions. The tour will visit other windbreaks in the Vib Park and Tustin districts.
The Yorba Linda Farm Center will send a large delegation this meeting, as it has been adopted as one of the community projects for 1925. The Yorba Linda delegation will be headed by A. W. Miller, director of the Center, and Ralph Shook, who have been appointed a special committee on windbreaks.
The mayor of Squeedunk, who had taken it upon himself to dress the seminary for girls, also owner of the principal good establishment of the town. At the conclusion of the address he gave the girls a little lecture on the importance of Squeedunk in the world's history and the needs of town spirit.
"Before I go," he concluded "has anyone a question to ask? Slowly and timidly one litter raised her hand."
"What is the question, Sall't Don't be afraid." Speak out!
The little girl tagged in her seat. Finally, in a desperate or burst, she put the question: "M Mayor, please how much are the yellow gloves for girls you hail in your window?"
A subway portah-pusson skid-ned off the platform as a train was gliding into the station. He did an ostermoor dive into the depression between tracks and when the train was halted emerged.

NOT TALENTED
