The Issue
The issue to be decided Tuesday:
Will Anaheim disgrace itself by endorsing the most vicious use of the recall in the history of the state?
Will it countenance the injustice of ousting from office admittedly the best administration the city has ever had?
Will it approve the U. S. A. Club's "rule or ruin" campaign of mudslinging and villification, which has stopped at nothing, not even hesitating to bring in ex-convicts in an effort to blacken the reputations of the law enforcement candidates, every man of whom is bone dry, and whose record for enforcement of the prohibition law is a performance and not a promise?

Will Anaheim keep in office the councilmen who have devoted more attention to the city's affairs than any previous administration?

The Issue
Will Anaheim put back into office the little coterie whom voters have protested against for years and whom they finally succeeded in ousting by a vote of nearly two to one last spring?
Will Anaheim put back into office the men who represent Bill Stark, former political boss and ex-saloon keeper, and Al Pape, now in hands of federal officers for bootlegging on a notorious scale?
In short, will Anaheim approve enforcement of the prohibition and gambling laws, without fear or favor, and an economical administration of the city's affairs? If you, the voters, approve this sort of government and want to cast your ballots for those whom
In short, will Anaheim approve enforcement of the prohibition and gambling laws, without fear or favor, and an economical administration of the city's affairs? If you, the voters, approve this sort of government and want to cast your ballots for those whom every bootlegger is fighting so bitterly, go to the polls early Tuesday and vote for Metcalf, Knipe, Hasson, Slaback and Turton.
Don't Be Deluded!
Do not be deluded by desperate efforts to becloud the situation of ex-officeholders and political soreheads in the old political gang which the people voted out of office so decisively last spring.
Remember:
Bank resources are at highest peak in history of city.
Postal receipts running ahead of last year.
Grammar School attendance ahead of a year ago.
Telephone connections largest in city's history.
Anaheim auto sales greater than in Santa Ana.
