HANS LUTHER TO FORM CABINET
BERLIN, Jan. 15—Dr. Hans Luther, former finance minister, probably will be formally charged today to form a new cabinet, ending the period of uncertainty and bitter political strife which has endured since the elections.
Dr. Luther, renowned as one of Germany's greatest financial experts, as well as a clever negotiator has organized and almost completed the new ministry behind the scenes. It will be a conservative bourgeois cabinet.
His selections thus far stand: Chancellor Dr. Hans Luther, Foreign minister, Dr. Gustav Stresemann, Finance minister, Dr. Saenisch, Minister of the interior, Herr Schleile.
Minister of agriculture, Count Kanitsa,
Minister of commerce, Herr Neuhua,
Minister of labor, Dr. Heinrich Braun,
Minister of justice, Herr Schollen.
Minister of posts, Herr Stengl.
Minister of the army, Dr. Otto Gessler.
Stresemann, Kanitz, Brauns and Gessler, held the same posts in the Marx cabinet. Schleile is head of the Nationalist held. Saenisch and Nouhaus held the same positions in the Prussian cabinet to which Luther has assigned them and Stengl was minister of posts in the Cuno cabinet. Schollen, a Centrist, comes to the cabinet as an expert.
The new lineup was heralded here as a victory for Foreign Minister Stresemann but is not considered a danger to the republic, as the monarchist pretensions of the Stresemann party are not taken seriously, as against the popular opinion represented in the reichstag.
The new cabinet will be formed "confidantes" of the right wing parties, including the German Na-

SEEKS FORTUNE FOR MRS. OSER
CHICAGO, Jan. 15—Reconciliation of Harold F. McCormick to the sensational elopement and marriage of his daughter, Mathilde and Max Oser, the Swiss riding master, was seen here today in his suit on file in Indianapolis asking that $8,017,604 worth of Standard Oil stock claimed by his divorced wife, Edith Rockefeller McCormick, be set aside as a trust fund for the nine months old granddaughter, Anita Oser.
Baby fingers tugging at the heartstrings of the harvester king it is said, won more sympathy than from the daughter of John D Rockefeller, sr., who report here today had it; is reticent to see any of her family fortune leave American shores.
The suit is the first action it is said that any member of the McCormick family has taken in favor of Mathilde since her marriage and friends point this out in their interpretation of it.
The securities involved in the suit are 123,824 shares of Standard Oil stock of Indiana, which were set aside in trust for Mrs McCormick by her father, "the richest man in the world." Acting as voluntary benefactor for the infant granddaughter, the harvester magnate has instituted the action to obtain for her a share in the fortune even tho it means widening the breach that has existed for years between him and his divorced wife.
Three injunctions are sought in the bill filed.

and Stengl was minister of posts in the Cuno cabinet.
The new cabinet will be formed of "confidantes" of the right wing parties, including the German Nationalists, the German Peoples, the Centrists, the Bavarian Peoples, in addition to Professionals, who are filling the remaining vacancies. Excluding the Social Democrats, the cabinet will be conservative representing the economic elements of Germany as violently opposed to Marxian experiments.
According to the repeated assertions of Dr. Luther, the new cabinet will hold the "continuity of foreign policy," meaning it will back loyalty German attempts to fulfill the Dawes obligations. This intention is reflected also in the continuation of Stresemann as foreign minister.

LA HABRA
LA HABRA, Jan. 15. (Spl.)—A jolly bunch of young married couples motored to Camp Baldy Sunday where the day was spent. A picnic lunch was enjoyed at the La Habra Kiwanis Cabin, after which outdoor sports was enjoyed. Mark Jentry and A. E. Colyer get- ling separated from the party, attemped to climb to the top of Ice House Canyon. Before reaching the top a landslide came, owing to the ice and snow Mr. Jentry was unable to get out of the way of the falling rock, and was hit by a rock weighing 300 pounds. Falling down the canyon 40 feet, he caught a small rock which was buried in the snow, which prevented him from falling several thousand feet, and which possibly saved his life. Weak from loss of blood, with the aid of Mr. Colyer he was able to reach the Ice House Canyon Resort, four hours later. Some members of the party think they would return in a short time returned to their home in La Habra. The waiting party, after it had began to grow dark, started a searching party. He was brought to the Ice House Canyon resort where he was given first aid. He is suffering from many cuts and bruises. He was returned to his home by members of the party, Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Walker. Included in the party were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Swift, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Noble, Mrs. Carrie Ellis, Miss Bernie Alacore and Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Walker of La Habra, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jentry of Montebello, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Colyer of Whittier and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Wodway of Downey.
Fred Delacore of La Habra and Mrs. Senobie Fishback of the Murphy Lease of Whittier were married at the Santa Ana court house Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Carlie
MORE PRAISE FOR BULGIN AND PARTY
(An Anaheimer clipped this from his old home paper)
Mitchell, Ind., Jan. 2, 1925.
Editor Progress Examiner,
Orleans, Indiana.
Dear Sir:
I wish to express my appreciation of the great Bulgin tabernacle meeting recently held in Mitchell and which was brought about by my old friend and neighbor, C. M.
Cadile, of Indianapolis, but formerly of Washington county. Although I was not one of the big "its" accorded the privilege of standing on the platform and expressing my sentiments to that large audience, which assembled from time to time I take this method of showing my high regard. Mr. Cadile and I, coming from the same community, made his life story the more in teresting, and to all his old friends it was a master piece. Dr. Bulgin's sermons, Mr. Gourley's music and Mr. Carter's singing were an inspiration in themselves. I believe it was a God-send to Mitchell. May He bless Dr. Bulgin and his party and may their lives be long that they may carry on the good work, is my prayer.
Sincerely,
Albert Trabue.
