On such ballots under each such question, there shall also be printed the names of those who have been constituted as candidates to succeed the person recalled, in case he shall be removed from office by said recall election; but no vote shall be counted for any candidate for such office unless the voter also voted on such question of the recall of the person sought to be recalled as president of the Cross (X) stamped in the clear space at the right of the word "Yes" shall be counted as a vote for and in favor of the recall of said official, and a cross (X) in the blank space at the right of the word "No" shall be counted as a vote against such recall. SECTION 4. Sample ballots containing the matter required to be submitted to the official ballots, also stated stating the location of the precinct polling place of each elector, shall be supplied to the electors of said City by the City Clerk, but the failure on the part of any voter to receive such sample ballot not be held to have notice, should not be held to have notice or affect the election in any manner. In addition to the matter required to be submitted to the official ballots, upon the sample ballot there shall be printed in not more than two hundred (200) words three reasons set forth in the Recall Petition for demanding the recall of said official upon the same number than two hundred (200) words, the officials may justify their course in office. If a majority of those voting on such question of the recall of any incumbent from office shall vote "NO," said incumbent shall continue in said office; if any incumbent shall vote "YES," said incumbent must theretoupon be demoted from office upon the initialization of his successor. SECTION 4. For the purpose of such special election the twelve voting presidents hereof created and established by the Board of Supervisors of the County Orange at the election precinct for the said City of Patterson and adopted by order of said Board of Supervisors together with the territorial Mayor to said City of Anaheim at a special election held on the 5th day of July, 1924, designated as "Industrial Site Addition," and described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center lines of Patterson Street and Las Palmas Street as shown on a map of the broadwall subdivision entered in Book 5.
