FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 1924 SEARCH WARRANTS FOR SAFETY BOXES SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 14.—In an effort to secure further evidence of the alleged existence of a $100,000 payment to San Francisco interests to safeguard the landing of liquor here from Canada, federal agents will search safety deposit boxes at local banks. According to U.S. Atty. Sterling Carr, evidence has been unearthed of one "hush" fund payment of $100,000 and that a regular scale charge. CHARGES CRUELTY RENO, Nov., Nov. 14.—Extreme cruelty is charged in the divorce complaint filed here by Philip Hermann or York against Dorothy Hermann, to be a former Police beauty.
