SWING TO SPEAK AT COSTA MESA
What Orange-co can expect in the way of government aid for the harbor will be outlined by Cong. Phil D. Swing at a meeting Thursday evening at the Friday Afternoon club, Costa Mesa.
The announcement came today from W. C. Spencer, chairman of the road committee of the Orange-co Harbor C. of C.
The supper will be served at 6:30.
The voting of county bonds as the condition on which government aid will hinge will be assumed by Swing, it is said.
Much further data on development requirements will be made known.
The road committee will make a report on the proposed trunk line from Fullerton thru Anaheim and along South Palm-rd. Buaro-rd and Fairview-ave to Costa Mesa.
The committee of 50 also will make additional information public.
Spencer reminds Anaheim that the widening and paving of Fairview-ave already is in progress.
The Anaheim C. of C. directors at their meeting Thursday will discuss a proposal that Lemon-st, north and south, be made the course thru Anaheim instead of Palm-st. If the Lemon-st paving is strong enough to hold up under truck traffic, some of the directors are inclined to favor it. Less preliminary would be required, it is said, and additional paving would be unnecessary.
The course then would be continued by way of South Palm-rd at the city limits.
On Oct. 9 the Orange-co Harbor C. of C. road committee will appear before Anaheim city council and discuss this change of course.
Chairman Spencer of the committee regards the road improvement as intimately connected with BUENA PARK.

SOME WOMEN DON'T, BUT MOST WOMEN DO DIET
Because of the confining indoor duties, together with long and irregular hours of drudgery, many women suffer from some form or other of stomach trouble and feel obliged to diet in order to live in a reasonable degree of health and comfort.
No dieting will be necessary, and what the appetite craves may be eaten without fear of distress if the stomach and bowels are kept toned up.
To invigorate the stomach glands and increase the proper secretion of gastric fluid so necessary for proper digestion there is nothing equal to Smith Bros.' M.A.C. Stomach Tonic. During the past fifteen years it has helped thousands of sufferers from stomach trouble. So sure are the benefits it will give relief from any case where does not overstress or constrict today.
