HOW HIGH WILL GERMAN BONDS GO?
Close students of the German financial situation believe most strongly that German bonds will eventually rise to a value they are steadily rising. Unbelievable actual value at the time of issue. This opinion is based on the decision of the Supreme Court Leipzig to the effect that a creditor could not be expected to accept the depreciated mark in repayment of marks loaned at a time when the mark still has a specific gold value.
While the decision applied specifically to an industrial bond it establishes the principle of indemnification, and it is believed the same principle must apply to municipal and government issues. It is pointed out that the greatest part of all German loans are still held by Germans living in Germany. The German Republic it is claimed cannot refuse to listen to popular demands, especially when to do so would make it impossible to raise any new loans in its own country.
These bonds are now being offered at a very small fraction of their issued value. The opportunity for immense profits is here and now. German bonds are steadily rising. Unbelievable profits are possible. We believe the activity in German bonds has only just begun. A small investment of $120 a new month ago is now worth over $12,000. BUENA PARK
BUENA PARK, Sept. 23. (Spl.)—The second annual Dahlia Show drew a large crowd from all over Orange co. The afternoon was well attended and the building crowded in the evening; $115 was taken in at the door. There was a candy booth and tearoom. The dahilis were unusually beautiful. There were 22 people who made entries, some for several different classes. Effos were won by Messames / Redfern, Rorden, Wilcox, Verly, Cox, Trapp, Mardeen. Honorable mention was given to Mrs. Fred Bastady and Mrs. Rose Hartman. The children's prizes were won by Johnny Seemley and Bobby Shaw. The afternoon's entertainment was in charge of Mrs. Hilton of Santa Ana, who has a classes in dancing and dramatics. The children put on a very interesting program. The Dahlia dance, in which the little barefoot girls were dressed in green paper dresses to represent dahilis was given both afternoon and evening. Several of Mrs. Hilton's pupils also gave readings in the evening, but the special feature of the evening was the animated magazine. The Plotterial Review for September was chosen to be represented and everything possible was acted on the stage.
