Milred Maxwell, of the Maxwell spiritualist church officiating. Burial, with short services at the grave, conducted by the Knights of Pythias, was in Loma Vista. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marion Stewart, one son, Clark, in Brea, five sons in Rockford, Ill., and two daughters in S. Dakota. Mr. Stewart, who has resided in Brea about one year, made many friends there. His death followed a short illness. He had been a Spiritualist all his life and raised his children in the same faith. Knights of Pythias brothers served as pall bearers. Thanks From Swing The Plain Dealer: I am deeply gratified by the tremendous vote of confidence given me by my constituency. I recognize, however, that this wonderful victory came, not as a personal tribute to me, but as an endorsement of the measures for which I have been fighting. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the splendid contribution to the cause in making clear the very vital issues involved in the contest and also to thank my many friends in Orange county who loyalty supported me throughout the campaign. In response to the unprecedented vote given me in the county of Orange and throut my entire district, I can only say that I shall rededicate myself with renewed vigor to the cause of the people I serve. Very truly yours, PHIL D. SWING. MOVES DRY GOODS STORE The dry goods store conducted in Placentia by Charlie Mitchell has been moved to Hemet where it was re-opened Wednesday.
