The search for John Malone, 65, and Abe, his 12-year-old son, missing for more than a month, has ended with the finding of the youth in a detention home in San Francisco and his father's body in an unnamed grave in the same city. Father and son, according to the latter's story, became separated shortly after reaching the bay city, where they had gone for Malone's health. The youth was found by San Francisco police and placed in the detention home pending a search for his relatives. Malone apparently died from heart trouble induced by over exertion. He is believed to have been overtaken by death while frantically searching for his boy. When no one claimed the body he was buried in the public cemetery. Solution of the mysterious disappearance of the boy and his parent came after Abe had insisted that attendants at the detention home write to his sister, Mrs. A. J. Houte of Sacramento and inform her of his whereabouts. Arrangements are being made to disinter the remains of Malone and bring them here for burial in the family plot. DINNER STORIES Two golfers sliced their drives into the rough and went in search of the balls. They searched for a long time without success. A woman watched them with sympathetic eyes. At last, after the search had proceeded half an hour, she beckoned to them and said sweetly: "I hope I'm not interrupting, gentlemen, but would it be cheating." A woman watched them with sympathetic eyes. At last, after the search had proceeded half an hour, she beckoned to them and said sweetly: "I hope I'm not interrupting, gentlemen, but would it be cheating if I told you where they were?" The two young things were very much in love with each other. They sat one night, beneath the rays of the silver moon, arms around each other, whispering soft nothings-at-all. Louise's eyes were downcast; she seemed quite incapable of raising them to meet the lovelight in Edward's eyes. "Why won't you look up at me, darling?" he whispered. "You will only kiss me again if I do," she replied coyly. "No, honest, I won't," he answered her. "Then what's the use?" asked the simple maiden. The hotel guest had taken a kindly interest in the bright-faced bellboy, who answered his summons so promptly. "What is your name, my boy?" he inquired. "They calls me Billiard Cue," said the boy, "because I works so much better with a good tip." Classified Ads Bring Good Results '24 Model 42—4 Cyl.
