TELL FRIENDS IN EAST THE TRUTH
It is high time the people do something to stop the untruthful talk that has been broadcast in all the eastern cities.
The information has been given out that it is not safe for a man to bring his family to California for the usual vacation on account of the disease of cattle that has been stamped out. It has been stated that they would be subjected to quarantine and thereby unable to get back home.
I am making a suggestion that everyone who has friends any place in the east write them and report the shooting public until today when Carney died. They received a report yesterday morning. Carney was taken to the hospital by McCormick Home Watchman Shot.

We imagination, spiritual in- if you prefer, to be able to eliminate between the things are ephemeral and super- human nature, that areers of temperament and the arts that are fundamental.
We need a greater confidence spiritual forces, God is able. World is not too much for He made it. He has the for the Door, as the apostle Our reliance should be in We have a great message. Must grasp that as the soldier pushes his sword, easily and wield freely. There is the fact of her. The spiritual resources man are beyond all others in hope for the salvation of grace.
Finally, we need, in addition to our imagination and a greater evidence in our spiritual recess, to see that the spiritual world is not ac- plished nor will it accomplish it. There is no touch call for our effort on our part to bring truth of Christ to bear upon life as there was in the antique age.
It is high time the people do something to stop the untruthful talk that has been broadcast in all the eastern cities.
The information has been given out that it is not safe for a man to bring his family to California for the usual vacation on account of the disease of cattle that has been stamped out. It has been stated that they would be subject- ed to quarantine and thereby un- able to get back home.
I am making a suggestion that everyone who has friends any place in the east write them and give them the facts as they are re- garding the wonderful possibilities here.
One of the largest insurance companies in the United States is holding its convention in Los Angeles this year. There are several thousand salesmen in the company’s employ who expect to make the trip west and a great many of them for the first time. The corporation has had thousands of inquiries as to the conditions here. They have been told that we are starving out here and that we are ltors would not get back if they came. I feel it the duty of every citizen to notify their friends in the east that conditions in California are good now and improving; that our agricultural products are being marketed at a good price; that the future of California is guaranteed. We earnestly request each citizen to write at least five of their friends in the east to visit California this summer. This would satisfy a great many curious people regarding the conditions in California.
A FRIEND OF CALIFORNIA.
