IT'S GOOD TIME
TO BUY REALTY
Our office, says Romaine Berger of the R. C. Berger Co., and no doubt other real estate offices, have buyers with the cash right now for property that's rightly priced to sell today, but these buyers will not pay the prices of two years ago. So it seems to me that it behooves the man with a $50,000 property, for example, who really should have only a $20,000 property, to take up that slack in just this way. He can buy a smaller place, and, so to speak, "sit easy."
No. Orange-co real estate values of today undoubtedly present a splendid opportunity for the man and woman with ready cash, and tomorrow, when everybody realizes this will be an awakening for many.
Here is a partial list of our recent deals and we have more in escrow which we will give out from time to time after they are finished up.
The drought ended in some of the finest rains we have ever had. We will very soon be looking back to the hoof and mouth disease epidemic as a thing of the past. The sun is shining brightly, all indications point to good prices for our oranges, and, don't forget, the easterners are still coming to California.

MARRIED 2 DAYS COUPLE IN JAIL
DETROIT, May 9—Mrs. Rita Guinn, pretty 23-year-old bride of two days, who formerly lived in Terre Haute, Ind., was weeping in her cell today near the one in which her husband, Jean Francis Guinn, 28, of San Bernardino, Calif., was pacing nervously.
Mr. and Mrs. Guinn, registered as Mr. and Mrs. PalMoore at Detroit Hotel were arrested by detectives in connection with the theft of $40,000 worth of bonds from the U.S. Trust Co. of Omaha, Nebr.
Rita, a show girl, was married Tuesday to Guinn in Galesburg, Ill., according to the marriage license found on her husband. They came to Detroit to spend their honeymoon. She could not account for the names under which she and her husband were registered.
Pal Moore is a well known bantamweight pugilist who lives in Memphis.
When Rita was arrested she carried a swagger stick. As soon as she learned she was talking to officers of the law, she dropped the swager stick.
Since the couple's arrival in Detroit they had been shadowed by detectives. Yesterday morning Guinn is said to have sent $2,150 in bond coupons from two Detroit banks to Omaha for cashing, according to the police.
Shortly after his arrest Guinn is said to have told police that a man in Omaha named W. A. Simpson gave him the bonds to sell.

What Creed is the Truth?
BY J.V.MACKAY OF AUSTRALIA
SUNDAY, MAY 11 MOOSE HALL

There are many different creeds today, each claiming to be right and the others wrong. The very fact that they differ and have different names proves that they can not all be correct. Then how may we know which one is the truth? Mr. Mackay will answer this question in his lecture.
