Additional American marines have been landed in Honduras to protect American lives, the state department announced today. The marines landed at Coiba, where fighting has taken place between Honduran federal troops and revolutionists and where new hostilities are anticipated. Approximately seventy marines are now on Honduran soil, according to advises to the state department. It was announced that another American destroyer has been ordered to Puerto Cortez, Honduras, to take part in the American military demonstration and to protect United States property.
