STATEMENT BY REALTY BOARD long printed statement now being distributed, the Anaheim Realty Board tells sellers of real estate why they should list their property with the board, and buyers why they should purchase through it. The statement says: The Anaheim Realty Board of Anaheim is composed of the leading real estate brokers maintaining offices in Anaheim. These brokers have been carefully investigated before being accepted as members. They are honest, conscientious and active. By listing your property for sale with the Anaheim Realty Board of Anaheim you are listing exclusively and individually with each member. Your property is not only listed in one or two offices, but in the offices of every member of the board. This alone greatly increases your opportunity to sell. Your property is also advertised and given preference and every effort is made to sell it within the specified time. Following is the routine: You list your property exclusively with the Anaheim Realty Board through a member. This listing is taken on a regular, uniform, exclusive listing card, which is turned into the board secretary, who immediately sends a copy to each member. Thus you are in touch with buyers in all sections of the southwest. The board only accepts exclusive listings for 40 days or more. Consider the stability of its membership, and the vast territory covered. Remember, with all of the leading brokers, its numerous offices, each with two to four salesmen, there is a large force of trained men working to sell your property. Therefore, list with a member of the board and get ready to move. A majority of buyers of real estate are strangers in a strange land. CRUSHED ROCK FOR FERTILIZER SACRAMENTO, January 11.—Warning that all offers of stocks and securities emanating from Mexico should be closely scrutinized, today was issued by State Corporation, Commissioner Edwin M. Daugherty. Fake stock dealers have been practically driven from California, according to Daugherty, because of the campaign waged by federal and state authorities. They have sought safety in Mexico and are forwarding "their alluring literature" to Californians whose names are on what is commonly known as the "sucker" list. Residents of San Francisco, Sacramento and Los Angeles in particular, have recently received circulars from Freeman Berns, whose address in Mexico is given as Apartado No. 139, Bis. Mexico. Berns "guarantees" 2000 per cent profit on a 30-day investment. The postal authorities have directed that all mail sent to the United States to Berns be stopped at El Paso and returned to the senders.
