Miscellaneous BOGUS TICKETS FOR BIG FIGHT APPEAR BOSTON, Sept. 12.—Bogus ring-side tickets for the Dempsey-Firpo fight at the Polo Grounds, New York, on Friday night, are flooding this city, according to a telegram by Superintendent Michael Crowley from Tex Richard, promoter of the fight. The police have been instructed to investigate all sales of tickets that come under their observation, especially those of the speculators. UPRISING FEARED MANILA, Sept. 12.—An uprising on the part of the Lanao Moros in the Gunasai district, Island of Mindanao, is feared here today following agitation by native leaders against payment of taxes, which advice, they claim, is included in the Koran, their holy book. Governor General Leonard Wood may leave for Mindanao immediately to investigate the situation. Governor Santos has requested reinforcements for the constabulary and a large quantity of shrapnel. Many of the Moros have sworn to resist payment of the taxes. Private advices say the Moros are dissatisfied with the Filipino regime, only recognizing American sovereignty.
