MARION RECEIVES ITS HARDING;
HOME CITY PAYS FINAL TRIBUTE
Army, navy and marine men lifting body of President Harding from side door of funeral waiting hearse at Marion depot.
A city of mourning, a hundred thousand home folk with bowed heads, received all mortal of President Harding when the dead chief executive's body arrived in Marion for Members of the cabinet and other high officials followed the casket from the depot to the dead president's father as the thousands along the streets stood with bared heads and med eyes in silent tribute to "their Harding" home citizen as well as President.

Silently and with reverence more than 35,000 persons filed through the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol at Washington to view all that was mortal of President Harding. The casket, resting on the catafalque which held the remains of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and the Uncle, was guarded by of honor which has constantly since Harrington.
