Milwaukee medical circles are buzzing over the "unethical" operation performed by Dr. Theodore H. Larson, who recently transplanted goat glands to Mrs. Roy L. Stage in the presence of surgeons and newspaper men. Mrs. Stage wanted to become a mother and resorted to the operation for this reason. It was the first goat gland operation performed.

The German representative on the mixed claims commission, after spending several weeks in Washington, recently sailed for Germany to present to the home government the claims the United States representatives put forward for reparations. A conference on the terms of payment will be held in the near future, after the German officials have studied the claims.

Thousands of persons of Italian lineage recently crowded the Church of Mt. Carmel, New York city, to burn candles to show their appreciation for Christ's aid in curing their illness. The affair is an annual one. It usually lasts a week.
