CYPRESS The last half acre in the Home Gardens tract at Cypress was sold yesterday by Mr. Sconce of Priddy and Seonace, of Cypress. There are about eight lots left in the subdivision, and according to Mr. Seonace, indications are that every one purchasing property in the tract have not only bought with a view to speculation, but are planning to own homes in the near future. Work on their homes has been delayed somewhat on account of waiting for the gas line being extended from the boulevard which requires a special permit to carry the line under the railway track. Mr. and Mrs. J. Bressel who recently sold their ten acre ranch at Hansen for 11,000 purchased six acres at Hansen, belonging to Mrs. Sparks of Anaheim at $750 per acre two weeks ago, and have since refused $1000 for their bargain. They contemplate building a home later. The other four acres of the ten belong to Mr. Sparks was sold to a party in Cypress who will build a poultry ranch. Cypress acres, the new subdivision, located one-half mile west of Cypress, formerly the acreage of W. A. Straker, and Ed Peterson, which was recently purchased by Steurl and Hulsner, of Long Ebach, has opened with a bang. Yesterday there were ten lots sold in the tract. Mr. Shea recently of Long Beach, purchased a five-roombungalow with adjoining three acres, formerly owned by Ed Peterson. Mr. Shea is recently of Indiana, and has been traveling for two months over Southern California, but decided favorably upon Cypress as a location for a home place. He has sent east for his family, and J. Ridley, now living in the house, NEW TODAY "THREE CHANCES ONLY" To get a choice homesite in PALOMAR TRACT. One east front lot and two west fronts are all that remain in the entire tract at original prices. PALOMAR TRACT is showing more actual construction of good homes than any place in the city.
