LARGE STAGE FOR MONROE EXPOSITION
On the largest stage ever constructed in America, colossal pageants, spectacles, ballets and tableaux vivants will be presented in the Coliseum at the American Historical Revue and Motion Picture Industries Exposition, Los Angeles, July 2 to August 4.
Hundreds of dancers trained to the highest degree of proficiency will participate in Theodore Kostloff's ballads and the De Recat spectacles. Be cause of his excellent acoustics, orchestra rather than a band will furnish music for the awe-inspiring scenes in the various historical pageants, ballets, tableaux-vivants and dramas. A score of operatic stars have been engaged to participate in the programs.
Each night's program in the Coliseum will be concluded with the mammoth production of "Montezuma" or "The Fall of the Aztec Nation." In this feature 500 persons will appear in various roles, and the protechnic drama will depict the last days of the Aztecs, a historical pageant and spectacle never before equalled in beauty.
Hippodrome acts will be included in the program. From Seville, Spain, the Flying Cadonas have journeyed to Los Angeles to perform their death-defying aerial stunts on the loftiest apparatus extant. The flying Floyds, who boast the only woman catcher, have come from Paris to perform aerial acts. Tom Klerman, who won the last three championships for fancy and daring riding, and Miss Bee Klernan, lady champion, are to lead their troupe of 30 riders in scenes depicting the carilier frontier days of the West.
The two greatest horse acts in the world will be seen in the circus arena at the feet of the spectators.

Spain, the Flying Cadonas have journeyed to Los Angeles to perform their death-defying aerial stunts on the loftiest apparatus extant. The flying Floyds, who boast the only woman catcher, have come from Paris to perform aerial acts. Tom Kiernan, who won the last three championships for fancy and daring riding, and Miss Bee Klernan, lady champion, are to lead their troupe of 30 riders in scenes depicting the earl-rider frontier days of the West.
The two greatest horse acts in the world will be seen in the circus arena at the feet of the spectators. The animals are trained to the highest degree of intelligence, and their acts are not only of an educational nature, but highly entertaining. A score of French pantomime clowns of fleece fame at Nice, France, will add mirth to the long and interesting program and the management assures visitors that not a dull moment will be found in any program.
ANOTHER FAILURE (by International News Service)
NEW YORK, June 25—Another brokerage firm—Elstein, Ward & Co.—crashed into bankruptcy today when a receiver was appointed under $10,000 bond.
NEW WIRELESS INVENTION
REDDING, June 25—"Wired wire-less is the latest electrical brain child to be placed in successful use. For two months the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has been laughed "wired wireless" exclusively in telephoning between Pit-No. 1 and the Vac-Dixon substation, 220 miles distant, it became known today.
Radio waves travel over the magnetic field but having nothing to do with sound waves.
Experts claim the innovation has possibilities for more widespread use in that it is possible for anyone to "listen in."
COW INJURES MILKER
ELKO, Nev., June 25.—Desire for fresh milk to replace the customary condensed milk of the cattle ranch, cost Robert Merriwell, employee of the McKee cattle company, a broken leg.
Feeling the urge for laceal, Merriwell sailed forth and roped a range cow with the view of extracting a quart or so of milk.
The cow resented this unwanted familiarity. Merriwell tied the bovine's legs and started milking. The cow lunged, struggled to fee its legs, and fell on Merriwell. His leg was shapped below the knee.
SIX MEETINGS ON CITRUS DISEASES
Citrus production in Orange County is largely influenced by the health and thrift of the individual tree. A number of root and trunk diseases are found in the grove, which have been caused for one reason or another. Some of these diseases are of bacterial origin and others caused by fungi, while still others are due to improper moisture conditions. These various groups of diseases will be discussed at a series of Field Meetings, which have been scheduled by the Agricultural Extension Service and Farm Bureau, in the various Citrus sections of Orange County. The best will be demonstrated by a Citrus methods of treatment and control Specialist.
Par mAdvisor, Walborg invites the public to these meetings. The following schedule has been arranged:
Olive — Tuesday, June 26, 10 a.m. Place of Dr. J. D. Thomas, one half mile north of Olive.
Anaheim — Tuesday, June 26, 2 p.m. Place of C. M. Hollingshead, Northwest-st, corner of Burton.
Fullerton — Wednesday, June 27, 10 a.m. Place of George W. Sherwood, one mile east on Chapman-st.
Garden Grove — Thursday, June 28, 2 p.m. Place of A. C. Stanley, one mile north of Garden Grove.

Believe In Anaheim
The greatest opportunity today in our dear beloved city for the small investor lays in the Beverly Tract. It is not only the lowest priced property in town, but it is situated in the most popular and fastest growing section of W. Broadway, where property has increased fabulously, as high as four and five times more than original prices in just a few years.
The big swing has started well, everyone is talking Beverly Tract today, soon the biggest building program ever started in the history of Anaheim will be in full progress by five of the most prominent builders of Orange County, and an entirely new city will be built where there was nothing but a walnut grove 6 months ago. Prices are at the very bottom level now, they will never be cheaper, and don't forget one block from Broadway, two from High School, two blocks from Five Points, Anaheim's new business center. There are grocery stores, butcher shops, drug stores, bakery tailor, millinery and dressmaker now, everything is new and beautiful and restricted, you simply must like it.
Only a few lots left so call today.
