MEAT HIM FACE TO FACE
Knotts Meat Market
—Metaphorically speaking, out title is dealing with Knott’s Meat Market and its capable proprietor, Mr. Billy Knott. Billy needs no introduction to the citizens of Anaheim—for fifteen years he has been connected with the butcher business in this city, starting as a delivery boy and working his way upward until today we find him the sole owner of one of the cleanest and most efficient meat markets under the sun. His splendid establishment was opened fan. 28th, 1922. Since that time his trade has increased to the most gratifying limits and it continues to increase, because he is giving the people of Anaheim a service in meals that is distinctly sanitary and wholesome.
Billy Knott knows how a butcher's business should be conducted. Go into his market and study the scheme of things—the clever, commendable scheme of things—the way Billy would have it always and the way every sane person would wish for it. Cement floors, and spotless; numerous large electric fans; high ceilings and lily white walls
cher is guarding the interests of his customers to such an admirable and honest extent. The place it literally permeated with wholesomeness, all goods fresh and healthy, not an unpleasant order or anything to mar our genuine praise of the place. study the scheme of things—the clever, commendable scheme of things—the way Billy would have it always and the way every sane person would wish for it. Cement floors, and spotless; numerous large electric fans; high ceilings and lily white walls brand new equipment through out; chopping blocks so fresh and clean; clerks in neat white working clothes; not an insect or a fly to be seen in the place—his many electric fans look out for that; fresh; wholesome meats of great variety, and best of all everything in the meat line is absolutely under cover, under the neatest and cleanest of cases with their refrigerating systems.
"It is a positive joy to visit a place like this and to know and to see that this conscientious but-
place it literally permeated with wholesomeness, all goods fresh and healthy, not an unpleasant order or anything to mar our genuine praise of the place. On the walls behind his counters are two artistic garden wall boxes, heap ing full of artificial flowers, a most charming effect and the very keynote of the sanitation and wholesomeness of this fine establishment.
"It would do one good to watch the constant attention paid cleanliness. Innumerable times a day, clerks can be seen dusting the show cases and washing them down, too. Nothing is overlooked when it comes to giving a pure, clean service. They have their own refrigerating plant and this means that only fresh meats are served at this meat market."
