ROTARIANS BEATEN
BY WOMEN'S CLUB
Fans and fanettes by the score from Anaheim and vicinity witnessed the slaughter of the old maid Rotary team last night by the "goofs" from the Business Women's club to the tune of 48 to 15. At first it was believed that the old ladies were "trying to throw the game" but when they saw that the young ladies meant business, they switched places and began slugging. Action centered around the bats and short stops. Heavy hitting on the part of the business girls won for them. Easter Jacques made the only homer of the games. There were many three-base hits.
The Rotarians did not put in their regular line-up. They will try to get another with the girls. Glen Hartranft starred as umpire and Carrie Lon Sutherland base umpire. Horace Benjamin was relieved in the 6th inning by Cloyd Hartranft who proved to be a better moundsman.
The fans raw an unexpected sight. The Rotary team nine were dressed in women's suits and there were some really striking costumes. The girls wore white trousers and flashy shirts.

REALTORS CLEAN UP PRESBYTERIANS
The Realtors indoor baseball team showed a real reversal of form last night on the "Y" field and cleaned the Presbyterians 17 to 3. As sometimes happens the breaks of the game seem to be all on one side and the Realtors were the lucky side last night. The Presbyterians made their three runs in the first inning and after that were able to get only three men as far as third base. Cohen and Foster did the umpiring. ed from Milwaukee. When Connie Mack benched Tillie Walker, home run sensation of last year, in favor of this young lad fandom in general pricked up its ears and said, "Whazz this Connie's pulling oo!" Connie apparently knew. Matthews' fielding stamps him as one of the greatest young outfielders in the game today. His hitting has been A1.

OUTLAWS OF SEA EXCITING PICTURE
Bootlegging and motion pictures are said to be the principal industries of this country. They are combined in a highly exciting picture called "Outlaws of the Sea," in which Marguerite Courtet, Pierre Gendron, Gordon Standing and H. J. Pattee play principal roles. The story is an out-and-out tale of rum-running as it is said to be carried on between the Florida coast and Bimini, a convenient little island belonging to the Bahamas. Dramatic interest is aroused by the manner in which the principal rum-runner involves an unsuspecting old man and his pretty daughter in his schemes and his passing cleverness in shifting all blame on them when he is in danger of arrest. Their escape when utter ruin seems inevitable is almost miraculous, but it too might happen to anyone when justice is on his side.
A Pop Tuttle comedy and Patte News Weekly round out the program.
We shall not form an opinion of Premier Baldwin until we see what he does about getting the Prince of Wales safely married.
SAYS CORRESPONDENT OCCUPIED HER HOME
Naming Mrs. Clara Rost as correspondent, Mary R. Pautz, today filed suit for divorce from Otto C. Pautz. The plaintiff declares the defendant would take Mrs. Rost out on auto rides and to dinner, etc., without the plaintiff's consent, and between October, 1920, and Jan. 8, 1921, entertained her at the ranch home on Washington avenue, Santa Ana. He displayed no affection for the plaintiff, she alleges, and told her he didn't love her. "Get out and earn your own living," he told her on Jan. 14, 1921, she avers.
EXTRA JUDGE NAMED

WON'T SELL PLANES
Manila, June 15—The offer of General Cheng of China to purchase several airplanes which were used in training Filipino national guardsmen will probably be turned down, it developed today.
In response to Governor Wood's cable to Washington, he was advised that the matter had been referred to American Minister Schurman in Peking.
Advices were received by General Wood from Schurman that Peking was probably endeavoring to purchase the planes for war purposes.
