$50,000 SUIT GOES TO JURYMEN TODAY
OMAHA, June 5. The $50,000 breach of promise suit against Dr. Karl Connell, Omaha physician, is expected to go to the jury this afternoon after having dragged through five days of sensational disclosures. The climax was renched yesterday afternoon when Dr. Connell, upon cross examination admitted intimate relations with Violet Johnson of New York City, the plaintiff and his former office secretary.
The doctor denied that he had ever promised to marry Miss Johnson, although he declared that their relations, which extended over a period of 15 years, "had been mutual at all times," and that the plaintiff had never objected to them.
The doctor described the first time he and Miss Johnson osculated.
"I came in one evening, some time in the fall of 1904," the doctor testified. "Miss Johnson had a lamp lighter in her hand. She stood there in the glow of the light. I came past and kissed her."
"What did she do?" questioned the plaintiff's attorney.
"We were both surprised. She drew back, I kissed her again. She blushed and kissed me. She wasn't so bashful and diffident as I."
Dr. Connell testified that when he first met the plaintiff he was of a retiring disposition, but her "teasing got the best of me."

BLUNDER CORRECTED
Placing a tent at the bottom of a slope makes it almost certain that a rainstorm will make the tent floor so soggy that it will be an unfit place to live in. Tents should be pitched on elevations.
