MANY FRIENDS PAY LAST RESPECTS A very large gathering of friends MANY FRIENDS PAY LAST RESPECTS A very large gathering of friends attended the final rites over Mrs. Mary Sutton, mother of Dr. Irwin Sutton, with the Johnston-Wickett clinic, which was held in the Little Church of Flower, in Forest Lawn. Rev. Kendrick, former pastor of the University Christian church, of which Mrs. Sutton was a prominent and influential member, read a beautiful eulogy, and paid a glowing tribute to her life and character. Rev. Webb, present pastor, also spoke appreciatively of Mrs. Sutton. The floral offerings were beautiful and many. Interment was made in Forest Lawn, beside her husband who passed away seven years ago. A son, also preceded her in death five years. Surviving are the son here, Dr. Sutton, a son in Los Angeles and one daughter, all of whom have reached maturity and are a substantial credit to their mother's training and devotion. BOULDER AM ASS'N. COMMITTEE MEETS At a meeting of the executive committee of the Boulder Dam association in St. Ann's Inn, Santa Ana, next Saturday noon, plans will be discussed to bring into the membership civic associations from all over So. Calif. A big membership campaign will be started. The committee includes mayors of many important cities of the Southland, Congressman Phil D. Swing will be present. HELD TO SUPERIOR COURT A. Juarez was held on a statutory charge in Judge Brown's court involving a 14-year-old girl, to await the action of the superior court. His ball was fixed at $3000. Under the direction of Mrs. Lane girls in the sewing classes will show the costumes which they have made the past year and tell in what "capacity" they are used. The patrons will have a chance to see the stage craft close in separation. Homer Wallace will act as stage manager. The curtain will be left up so an idea can be obtained what is going on behind the curtain when scenes are changed. "Timothy's Quest" will be flashed on the screen after this show. An inspection tour on the stage and general view of the auditorium will be offered after the program. A register will be put in a conspicuous place for the patrons to sign. This is one of the big affairs of the school to help to promote acquaintance the teachers and parents and give them an idea what their children are doing and what they are able to do. The auditorium building will be opened from 6:45 to 11 o'clock. KIWANIANS BUILD HOUSE FOR WIDOW The regular meeting of the Fullerton Kiwanis Club was held Tuesday in the I. O., O. F. hall.
