5000 EXPECTED AT ORANGE-CO PICNIC Five thousand persons will be entertained by the County Farm Bureau at the annual picnic May 19 in Orange-co Park, according to H. E. Wahiberg, farm advisor. The entertainment committee of the Y. M. C. A. is arranging a program of sorris, Congressman Phil D. Swing of El Centro will tell about agricultural legislation pending at Washington and President A. C. Hardison of the California Farm Bureau Federation will speak on agricultural legislation at Sagramento. MAKE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TODAY Electricity connections were scheduled to be made today in the south-Anaheim tract on So. Los Angeles-st., it was announced at the office of D. W. Anderson and sons this morning. The water mains have been laid and the water plant is ready to start operations as soon as electric power is received. G. & L. LEASE G. L. Lease, May 10—(SpI)—Mrs. G. S. Hanmare gave a 1 o'clock lunchon her home Wednesday afternoon. Sandwiches, shrimp salad, punch and cake were served after which dancing was enjoyed until a late hour. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Churchhouse of owney spent Thursday with the latter sister, Mrs. Isaac Mayfield. Among those that attended the box social at the Morris lease Friday evening were Mesdames Mr. and Mrs. Packard of Santa Ana. Fillman Sellers of the Hall Lease spent Thursday evening with his brother, Knox Sellers. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goss and family of Huntington Beach and Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Hanmore spent Monday in Lrahueo Canyon. Oscar Billstrom of Pomona spent Monday with Oliver Bryan. Mile Sweeney returned to his home in Sawtell Tuesday evening after spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Jahn Pope. Mr.s L. F. Limdey and two sons, Glenn and Billie attented the birthday party of Vern Culp on the Standard Cyote Lease on Sunday and in the evening they were joined by Mr. Lemley.
