E. Adkinson, fish and game warden, in Justice Leo Goepper's court. Justice Goepper is on the bench in place of Justice J. B. Cox, who is said to be at Hot Springs recuperating from an indisposition. "DRY NAVY" ROUTS ATLANTIC RUM FLEET (By International News Service) NEW YORK, May 3.—Two shots from the revenue cutter Seneca of the "dry navy" routed the rum fleet, it was reported today from official sources. The Seneca brought its 4-pounder into action while pursuing two rum runners and fired the warning shots across their bows when they did not draw up. As a result of the skirmish the rum vessels have put to sea. WASHINGTON, May 3.—Coast guard stations along the Atlantic coast were ordered today to watch for the yacht Isstar and other vessels of the routed New York rum fleet. Choose Location For Grammar School The option for the site of the new South Side Fullerton grammar school building was obtained at a meeting of the school board last night, the site being bounded on the east by Balcom avenue, on the west by Lawrence avenue, on the north by Patterson Way, and on the south by Ash street. The new building is expected to cost about $100,000. It had been hoped to have the building ready for the lower grades by the fall term, but C. A. Marcey, principal, said today this would not be possible. TO FIGHT NARCOTICS (By International News Service) LOS ANGELES, May 3.—With Mrs. Wallace Reid in Washington, D. C., taking the first step in her fight on narcotics, to which she has pledged her future activities, her representatives in Los Angeles today closed a deal with P. A. Powers whereby Mrs. Reid's film, "human wreckage", a photo-drama attack on the drug evil, which has just been completed at the Ince Studios, will be released. A huge campaign to be conducted under the auspices of the anti-narcotic league, is immediately to be set in motion.
