It would take a trainload of superlatives and a couple of dozen Noah Websters and Dr. Sam Johnsons to even begin to tell the truth of the place. This poor cowboy will do the best he can under the circumstances. My first impression of this perfect laundry was that of a great conservatory, filled to overflowing with lilies. I wonder if you can visualize my conception. The place did not look like my most ideal idea of a perfect, modern laundry. Of smooth white tile brick, all trimmings of green and windows and borders in such artistic array; entirely surrounded by a bright green lawn; no evidence of exterior congestion not the slightest incongruity to mar the pretty scheme of things, it was difficult to bring myself to the realization that I stood in the premises of America's newest and most perfect laundry. After sketching the founders of this wonderful plant, the Mossy Theodore Bros., I was concerning this magnificent plant—completed about the first of this year and in operation since February, it has lived up to its reputation of the highest degree in laundry efficiency. The three brothers, whose enterprise built the place and who now operate the plant, have been in the laundry business for the past ten years. When they decided to build a new place they agreed upon the best plant possible, and being of recent construction it is therefore the finest to be found anywhere. All the features of the modern laundry are to be found here; the great water softening system; the latest machinery and the omst improved methods; a sunny dining room for the girls that work in this pleasant place; beautiful offices; smiling pretty girls happy the slightest incongruity to mar the pretty scheme of things, it was difficult to bring myself to the realization that I stood in the premises of America's newest and most perfect laundry. After sketching the founders of this wonderful plant, the Messrs. Theodore Bros., I was taken through Anaheim's pride. Now the lily part of it dawned on me. It was the white dresses of the workers and the whiteness of everything else that gave birth to the idea of the conservatory. Spotless, perfect in running order and with a lack of confusion that was amazing; equipment of the most up-to-date manufacture; mutual good will so noticeable among all who worked there—surely the place had earned its name —America's newest and most perfect laundry.
