CLARA MAY TELL EMBARASSING NEWS By JOHN EEWING (Pformer United States Ambassador to Honduras; I.N.S: Special Correspondent) TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, April 29.—Mrs. Jesse Carson, who is under arrest here and who has virtually confessed that she is Clara Phillips, notorious "hammer murderer" of Los Angeles, declared today that she will fight extradition to the last ditch. Asked if she would admit point blank that she is Clara Phillips, the prisoner said: "Certainly not." She contradicted this denial by saying: "Some people may not want me back in Los Angeles so bad as they now seem to desire. I can probably tell things which will make it very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Anyhow, what's the use of giving up the fight until it is over."
