WON'T CAMPAIGN ON VERSAILLES TREATY
(By International News Service)
AUGUSTA, Ga., April 5—Altho President Harding declined to make any comment for publication, it was stated officially here this afternoon in his behalf that he does not intend to campaign next year for renomination or re-election on any issue presented by the treaty of Versailles or the League of Nations, as reported in the London Daily Sketch.
Mr. Harding has no intention, it was stated, to go before the country on any platform involving a new "association of nations" or the re-vamping of the Versailles treaty along lines suggested in New York by Lord Robert Coell, British representative on the League of Nations.
