COGGINS TO MEET CHANEY IN FEATURE
This Paddy Coggins boy, who meets "cur own" Joe Chaney in the feature go at tonight's weekly boxing card at the local fistle emporium, has a reputation for being "some scraper". He is a rugged, two listed fighter and has a wicked wallop. Chaney has been working like a trojan. It is bound to be a "hummer" all the way.
The same can go for the semi-windup which brings together rough, tough Johnny Conley of Long Beach and the Victorville Cyclone, Charlie Johnson. It ought to set the fans wild. Both are fast and ready mixers with real steam to their punches.
Johnny Nandes and Bobby White mix in the special at 125 pounds. It promises to be a sweet affair, also. Nandee always gives the crowd a run for the money and Bobby White is said to be of the same caliber.

FULLERTON ZONING PROGRAM ADOPTED
Fullerton zoning committee met last night, accepting the plans for the zoning of the city which had been prepared by the planning subcommittee. The sub-committee was composed of Robert Straif, S. W. Miller, Mrs. P. M. West, and J. W. Carmichael.
The city was divided into four zones, the business zone running north and south on Spadra rd. from Brea rd. on the north to the city limits on the south, and east and west on Commodwealth avenue, several blocks each way, and on intermediate streets from Santa Fe to Whittier avenue, and from Malden to Pomona avenue.
The industrial district is placed between the Santa Fe and U. P. tracks for the entire distance through the city, with the light industrial district extending north of the Santa Fe to the city park, and east and west from Spadra rd. to Richman avenue.
The remainder of the city is in the residential zone.
Another meeting of the committee is to be held Monday night, and the zones may be further subdivided. It is planned to put a second class residence zone in the vicinity of the high and grammar schools, for use of apartment houses, it is said.

Liquor Ring Probe 'Started Something'
LOS ANGELES, March 27.—Starting as have been the revelations brot about to date by the far reaching federal investigation of the gigantic liquor ring declared to have been exposed by the raid last week on an alleged Long Beach smuggling expedition, the "fireworks" have just started, it was predicted today by those in charge of the investigation.
So highly connected was the alleged liquor smuggling gang, now being investigated that every new development is calculated to cause an added sensation and a general federal probe of liquor conditions on the entire Pacific Coast probably will result.
Earnest L. Bowen an oil worker,
was sentenced by J. C. Looney, Brea
marshal, on the charge of transporting liquor. He asked an extension
of time to enter a plea, and his case
may come up next week, it is said.
