Shaw at San Bernardine. Mrs. Ethel Conway was the guest at a house party at Laguna Beach over the week-end. Donald Osborne the seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Osborne had a narrow escape on Friday when he fell on an electric wire that had blown down in front of the school house. One hand was badly burned and he was very weak from the shock. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins is quite ill at the "Retreat" at Anaheim. Mrs. L. Calaway spent Saturday and Sunday with her daughter Miss Hilda Calaway at Huntington Beach. Johnie Allen of Fullerton visited over Saturday night with Harlan Whitzell. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Follis motored to Los Angeles on Saturday evening. Miss Ruth Meyer was the guest of Miss Margaret Nelson over Saturday night. Miss Ruth Edwards of Bellflower was the week-end guest of Miss Blanche Whitzell.
