SIX GOOD BOUTS TO RE-OPEN ARENA The stage is all set for the reopening of the Athletic Club's Arena Friday night when Athletic Manager Billy Darnley, offers a strong card of six bouts. Darnley is not figuring on any of the so called "high class" brand, simply six good fights. Each boy has been picked for his scrapping ability and the matches have been made for "action." There should be plenty of it as the boys are all in fine fettle and after the short lay off are rarin' to go. This will be the first show in three weeks and boxing bugs will have appetites appeased. A better main event could not have been thought of than the Young Terry-Scotty Diest affair. Both are out to win as decisively as possible. Paul Wilkins, classy Oklahoma 118-pounder, and the little Placeia whirlwind. Tobby Montoya, promise there will be plenty fur flying when they clash in the semi-windup. Tex Jones and Babe Orton are also due to furnish a few fireworks when they resume their old feud. They have already boxed a draw and Babe scored a K. O. over the lanky Tex. Tex, however, is out to even up that K. O. Tex carries a wicked wallop at that. Art Espin and Thad Warsaw also ought to provide a thrill or two as they are ready willing mixers with a real punch. Tony Ross and Jack Mooney expect to be up and doing as do also K. O. Charley Dement and Tommy Reddy. The advance sale has been brisk and a capacity house is being looked forward to by club officials. Ticket reservations can be had at either the United Cigar Store or Jeff's Dew Drop Inn on W. Center-st.
