Mr. Ennis has operated this splendid service in Anaheim since the beginning of this year but has been connected with the Exide service for the past eleven years. Formerly he was the manager of the electric light company at Rifle, Colo., and in that state he acted as the agent for Exide for some years. In his well equipped shop I saw that modern and infallible thing, that great labor saving device—the Ambu, the electric trouble shooter, that is connected up with the ignition system of an automobile and by a most ingenious dial and testing gauge, passes judgment on the auto, at least the electrical part of the auto, and in less time than it takes to tell of it, this instrument has diagnosed the infirmities of the ignition and told the complete story of the troubles, and further it will indicate the symptoms of troubles that are near at hand. It is the most important part of the equipment of the up to date auto electrician and no shop would be complete without it. It is the friend of the automobile owner and it has a high regard for his pocket book.
