The American Legion will not conduct much of a campaign for the $10,000 bond issue constitutional amendment in Southern California, in the opinion of former county commander William P. Webb, Jr. who said that the south raised three fourths of the fund for the referendum at the recent state convention, showing that sentiment was strong for the change. Webb is doubtful whether Buron R. Fitts, chairman of the state campaign committee, will come out to Orange County to speak. Local plans to get the vote out and obtain support for the measure have not been formed in detail. G. & L. LEASE G. & L. LEASE, Oct. 10—(SpL.)
