FROM THE MILL TO YOUR HOME VIA OUR PLANT SOME THING TO A-DOOR In the up building of Anaheim and the district it serves, there is a constant and healthy demand for lumber and building materials as well as for the necessary mill work that goes into every structure. These vital necessities must be on the ground in good assortment and adequate milling facilities must be available in order that the growing community will have a ready service to meet its advancing needs. The Young Sash and Door Co. at 418 South Lemon street is an institution that is always in a position to serve the growing requirements of this community. Although not a new business in Anaheim, in the strict sense of the word—for others had operated planing mills on the premises for many years—Mr. R. B. Young took over the establishment in October 1921 and immediately improved the plant, en- The Young Sash and Door Co., as the style of the company will indicate, specialize in the production of sash and doors, but their equipment is adequate to handle any kind of mill work. They carry big assortments of yard stocks in our well known west coast timbers, such as Redwood, Fir, White Pine and Sugar Pine etc. "Everything made of wood," as their slogan goes, or everything in the line of requirements of this community. Although not a new business in Anaheim, in the strict sense of the word—for others had operated planing mills on the premises for many years—Mr. R..B. Young took over the establishment in October 1921 and immediately improved the plant, enlarged his activities, added greatly to the stocks, promoted a service that is now equal to the increasing demands, in a word, put new life into the plant and finally supplies the city and the district with a lumber and mill work operation that can take care of any volume of business or any type of mill work that is required. Mr. Young comes from that great lumber state of Wisconsin, where for many years he was connected with some of the largest mills. He is an expert on mill work matters and in fact a thorough lumberman. Wisconsin like its great neighbor, Michigan, has been logged off, almost, and now this coast, where the lumber supplies are still prodigious, beckons to the best types of lumbermen from those eastern states that were so active in lumbering a few decades ago. their equipment is adequate to handle any kind of mill work. They carry big assortments of yard stocks in our well known west coast timbers, such as Redwood, Fir, White Pine and Sugar Pine etc. "Everything made of wood," as their slogan goes, or everything in the line of wood. Southern California is one of the world's largest consumers in lumber and great distributing facilities are located at nearby coast ports. These ports are the inlets for enormous quantities of Fir and Redwood, Spruce, Cedar, laths, shingles and other timber products that come out of the North Pacific and the Northern Californian ports. Coasting vessels, by the hundreds, are engaged in carrying this large volume of timber to Southern California. Yards hereabouts have a constant supply arriving. The Young Sash and Door Co. are in constant touch with the large suppliers, and thus they offer Anaheim the best of service when it comes to lumber and mill work. Mr. Young believes in Anaheim and lends every effort for its advancement. CALIFORNIA PAGE THREE To Be Found L. M. Railsback Co. Implements 114 S.
