WEST BROS. BUSY FIXING HEADLIGHTS The Auto Electric Maintenance Co., (West Bros.) at Los Angeles and Chestnut streets, report that they have issued official certificates to more than 300 motorists the past week. This certifies that each and every one of these 300 and more cars have, no doubt, better road illumination than they ever thought it possible to obtain. Nine-tenths of the lights we have focused stated West Bros., have been badly out of focus. "We are very" sorry that it has been necessary for many people to go elsewhere for this service on account of not being able to wait in line. We have installed two focussing screens and have three and four men on the jobs almost constantly in order to give our patrons real service, but ever then we found it necessary for our customers to wait longer than we would wish. We had as many as 30 in line at a time, but during the last few days we have been able to keep our patrons moving right along. We have two focussing rooms constructed in such a way that we can focus lights just as well in daylight as at night. In most cases the equipment used on cars is very satisfactory. In these cases the entire charge is but 75c. Many of West Bros. patrons state that they notice a great difference in the lights on the boulevards lately and that the glaring headlights are diminishing very fast." For the benefit of those who cannot get in during the day, West Bros. are open Saturday evening until 9:30 and every other evening until 7 o'clock. Appointments may be made by calling 31. By doing this you need not wait to have your lights cared for. Their Anaheim shop is corner of Los Angeles and Chestnut-sas., and their Santa Ana branch is next door to the city hall on North Main-st. The demands of the Ford distributors and others may result in fact in an enlargement of the space assigned for the show, between 17,000 and 18,000 square feet. It is a case of that or cutting down the space already drawn for, said Dunton, who is head of the dealers' craft of the Orange County Auto Trade Association under whose auspices the show will be given. Fordson will be confined to the industrial exhibit, together with all other combination vehicles other than passenger.
