AHLBORN HEAD OF
WATER COMMITTEE
The proposed survey of Orange-co.'s water resources is nearer today with the appointment of a committee headed by J. F. Ahlborn of Anaheim, head of the water conservation committee of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, to start the work. Assisting Ahlborn are C. M. Hollingshead of Anaheim; H. H. Dale of Placentia, John Dunstan of Tustin, Harry W. Lewis of Santa Ana.
The committee will co-operate with the Board of Supervisors in the survey.
as well as humorous stories told by Ranger Soercy.
Each scout returned with the feeling that he had gained some knowledge of the mountains and the good work the rangers accomplish. They were also informed how signals with the heliograph were carried out. Mr. Soercy turned his entire camp over to the boys which they enjoyed very much.
A party was organized to climb Sattle Back, and the hike was made with Asst. Scoutmaster Woodworth, about 6 hours being required to reach the summit.
The scouts were in charge of Scoutmaster F. L. Doepke, and Asst. Scoutmaster Arthur Woodworth.
The scouts obeyed to the letter the mountain sign, "I Put Out My Camp Fire, Did You?"
