Jacobo Iuzuriaga, officer on the staff of the rebel general, Juan Carrasco, has been captured at Guaymas, Sonora, according to advices received heer today. The rebel officer carried papers and documents on his person which implicated him as a spy on the movements of federal troops and indicated he was active in forwarding rations, arms and munitions to the rebel forces, it was said. SWIMMER BATTLES TO CROSS CHANNEL DOVER, England, Aug. 29.—An Italian swimmer, Tobaschi, who set out from the French coast at 11 o'clock last night to swim the English challenge, was still battling his way against strong tides this morning. Attending boats said that he had completed half of the 28-mile swim. $500,000 DAMAGE IN TULSA BLAZE TULSA, Okla., Aug. 29.—Flames swept the upper floors of the 14-story Cosden building here today, causing an estimated damage of $500,000. Defective wiring was said to have caused the blaze.
