STANLEY ACQUIRES MISSION GARAGE
Harry Stanley, veteran garage man, today took possession of the Mission garage at Clementine and Center-sts, next to the California Theatre, having purchased it from H. A. Slining.
As with his former garage here, he will specialize upon service and repairs to Buick cars, employing the highest class mechanics money will hire. Work will be done either by contract or by the hour.
An important feature will be the introduction to Anaheim of the first Pacific coast brake lining service machine. With this machine, brakes can be relied in 28 minutes, at a fixed labor charge of $2 for any car from Chevrolet to Packard. With the job goes a card entitled the autoist to brake service at any of the hundreds of "P.C." brake service stations from San Diego to Seattle. Stanley will also feature wash and grease racks. Stanley will also handle a full line of tires, tubes and accessories.
In connection with the garage, Mrs. Stanley will conduct an employment and real estate office.
BUILDING BRICK
Paris will make building brick by chemically treating its rubbish until it forms a pup, which will be mixed with chalk obtained near the city.

SUCCEEDS WHERE DOCTORS FAIL
Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound Often Does That. — Read Mrs. Miner's Testimony
Churubusco, N.Y. — "I was under the doctor's care for over five years for backache and had no relief from his medicine. One day a neighbor told me about your Vegetable Compound and I took it. It helped me so much that I wish to advise all women to try Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound for female troubles and backache. It is a great help in carrying a child, as I have noticed a difference when I didn't take it. I thank you for this medicine and if I have come to this point again I do not want to be without the Vegetable Compound. I give you permission to publish this letter so that all women can take my advice." — Mrs. Fred Miner, Box 102, Churubusco, N.Y.
It's the same story over again. Women suffer from ailments for years. They try doctors and different medicines, but feel no better. Finally they take Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound and you can see its value in the case of Mrs. Miner.
That's the truth of the matter. If you are suffering from any of the troubles women have, you ought to try this medicine. It can be taken in safety by young or old, as it contains no harmful drugs.

The cars listed in these advertisements are just a few
of the many bargains that these reliable firms have to
offer. You are sure to find the car that will suit your
every requirement, and remember you are doing business
with reliable firms. And if the present labor and transportation conditions continue for a period of some duration
a car shortage is inevitable. The lower prices have already had a tendency to clear the floors and bring all
available new cars out of storage. These are fast being
sold and owing to the strike it will be impossible to replace
them.
The only source of supply will be the used market,
and while the prices today are at the lowest possible level
there is no question that prices will increase with the deman. If you need a car. Buy Today.
