ONTARIO C. OF C.
SENDS S. O. S. CALL
B. W. Spencer, Secretary of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce has sent an urgent call to the local chamber stating that there is need at Ontario for women and girls over 16 to work in the cannery there. The peach crop at Ontario is unusually large and the extreme hot weather has hastened the ripening so that outside help is urgently required.
Rooms and apartments can be obtained at very reasonable prices and the C. of C., or the Sterns cannery at Vineville, will see that all applications receive immediate and favorable action.
