J. E. Duke and daughters, Florence and Ruth, of Brokhurst, were guests at the fiftieth wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. George Huntington, of Santa Ana, held Monday afternoon at their house.
Invitations contained the information that there were to be no presents, but many lovely and useful gifts found their ways to the revered couple. One of the delightful ones was a huge bouquet of zinnias, containing fifty of the golden blooms.
Past matrons of Hermosa Chapter, O.E.S., of which Mrs. Huntington is a member, presented her with a golden gift.
An impromptu program of readings, music and other entertainments followed expressions of congratulations and happy wishes for happiness.
