ARTISTS OF "BURNT CORK" AT GRAND
"Ah say, Tambo"—etc. etc.
This sounds familiar to most people who have, during some time in their lives, witnessed a real minstrel show. It seems that minstrel shows will go on forever.
At any rate, those who love the burnt cork will have the opportunity of witnessing a genuine dandy minstrel show next Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Grand theater, when the California Concert Minstrels hold sway.
This organization, numbering 25 people, will present a two-hour show under the personal direction of Barry Breden, well known minstrel producer and at one time or another identified with most of the larger minstrel shows of the past two decades.
The first part or semi-circle of the minstrels will bring to light here some famous minstrel characters, and the afterpart is made up of splendid vaudeville acts.
This show comes to Anaheim next Tuesday with gorgeous costumes, fine scenic effects and a real honest to goodness band that ought to knock the local theatergoers off their seats.
The prices will be popular, and the seats reserved.

ASK FOR ACTION TO VOID DEED TO LAND
Joining her son, William Wiederhold, Jr., Mrs. Matilda J. Wiederhold, widow of the late William Wiederhold of Placentia, has filed action in Superior Court to void deeds to ten acres of land, naming Frank Hinde, Vera and Mary Smith and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. DesGranges as defendants. The plaintiffs allege that Hinde took advantage of the dead man's known mental incapacity and persuaded him to sign away the deeds. Mrs. Wiederhold declared she trusted Hinde in helping to execute the deed.
