GIB' THE POWER BEHIND THE FOUNTAIN IS 'WATT'? PILLS RX GIBSON'S DRUG STORE FRIENDLY PLACE with a friendly welcome. Call in at Gibson's Drug Store if you would have yourself in such an atmosphere. On the first of last June, the proprietor, Mr. Gibson, took over the drug business that was formerly operated under the name of Buck and Gibson. Mr. Gibson was connected with the Owl Drug Co. in the city of Los Angeles for seven years and it may thus be noted that he is a man of much experience. He has had the training and the intimate touch with the large workings of the big modern drug establishment and he has carried this knowledge into his own efficient business. In our every day life what could be more fitting than those other things that are essentially at home in a drug store— Buck and Gibson. Mr. Gibson was connected with the Owl Drug Co. in the city of Los Angeles for seven years and it may thus be noted that he is a man of much experience. He has had the training and the intimate touch with the large workings of the big modern drug establishment and he has carried this knowledge into his own efficient business. In our every day life what could be more fitting than a genial proprietor to greet you in a drug store and a smiling clerk to carry out your wishes. Many of us in times of sickness find ourselves in such places and is it not true that we are keenly alive to the kindness and consideration of the drug clerk? Indeed there is a human side to a pharmacist's shop that is difficult to describe. Some go there with joy in their hearts — many find themselves there with no feeling akin to gladness. But a kind word or a little sincere advice will transform our thoughts from sorrow to hope and we leave feeling happier than when we entered. Gibson's Drug Store is that type of a druggists' shop that instantly reminds us that we are in a real pharmacists place of business. There is the complete prescription department with its pure drugs and with registered pharmacists on hand at all hours. There is a great assortment of those other things that are essentially at home in a drug store—not a few special lines of some particular make to be forced upon a discriminating public, but all of those necessities that are well known and nationally advertised. Such well known lines as Squibb's are carried in stock. This drug store serves the public in a most efficient manner—the shop is open on week days from 8 a.m. until 10 at night. On Sundays they remain open from 8 to 12 in the forenoon and from 2 in the afternoon to 10 in the evening. A handsome soda fountain in the store is conducted by Mr. Everett Watt. This gentleman has been in this business and the restaurant business for fifteen years. His services embraces light luncheons, ice creams, sodas candies, cigars and tobaccos. Wholesome things are served and Mr. Watt is making a host of friends for himself. CALIFORNIA PAGEIVE Speed Bring L. M. Railsback Co. Implements 114 S. Claudina St. Harry W.
