NEW ZEALAND TIRE MERCHANT HERE
NEW YORK, July 24—It is a healthful sign in the automotive industry when business men of far away New Zealand find the commercial horizon sufficiently bright to journey to America to call on old connections and to establish new. The visit of Paul Cropper, president of the Neil-Cropper Co., one of the most progressive and best known business concerns of Australia, is a case in point. Mr. Cropper's company is the representative of Savage Tires in New Zelahd, where these California rubber products are widely used.
According to Mr. Cropper, American-made automotive accessories are popular in Australia and New Zealand.

HOME FROM VACATION
While on my vacation have investigated thoroughly the ten acre pear orchard tracts in the Salinas Valley, owned by the Gould & Hughes Co., of Salinas, and was very much impressed with this land. I think it is a rare opportunity for the man of moderate means to secure, not only a beautiful home site, but a sound and paying investment. The soil is rich and beautifully located upon the public highway. The trees are hearty and thrifty and are nearly to the producing point.
Come into our office and let us explain this proposition to you. The prices are right and the terms are easy. Carfare will be refunded to all purchasers.
We are also headquarters for homes, business opportunities, building lots, and ranches, in the city of Anaheim and Orange-co. We have some special inducements to offer you at this time in modern homes in this city, also choice building lots.
