THE S. Q. R. STORE is said to be one of California's fastest growing stores and who is brave enough to deny that fact. The evolution achievement of this concern is indeed an interesting chapter in the local business life of the city. First in the smaller quarters and then to the great establishment of today. In these phases of growth, you will find that timely expansion that keeps abreast of the day and not once overlooking the needs of a prosperous and growing community. It is a fitting tribute to the management of this company to say that their every thought has been for the continual betterment of their service to thousands of patrons and also for the general welfare of this city and district.

But once in this great store, the thing that is most worthy of observation is the constant attention paid to courtesy. From the top to the bottom one can readily detect the good will and mutual understanding of the employees and it need scarcely be pointed out that this condition is very pleasingly reflected to the customer.
Founded fifteen years ago, the business still retains two of the original partners, A. E. Schumacher and O. H. Renner. Both of these gentlemen came to Anaheim while still mere boys, and both very early entered the mercantile business. Mr. Renner is the president of the Merchants' Assn. and both partners are vitally interested in the future advancement of Anaheim. Mr. Renner is a linguist of no mean ability and many of the Spanish speaking inhabitants as well as the German speaking people, seek him out when they are shopping in his store.
Standard qualities, standard advertised lines, absolute mercantile dependability, courteous attention—these are the outstanding features of the S. Q. R. store. They are constant and they are infallible. The shopper will find them all in every nook and corner of the establishment, Twenty-five employees carry out this attractive scheme of things.
This store offers an exclusive and complete line of apparel of every description for the entire population, man, woman or child. From head to feet, they can serve your needs—everything to wear and of the best of quality and of prices consistent with good quality. The various departments are separated from the general scheme of things and the shopper will not find it tiresome in looking over the place or their refirements.
Their representative in New York is in touch with the latest in the clothing line, and if there is anything new in the east, the S. Q. R. store will know it in Anaheim as soon as the easterer.
This is a fine public service for Anaheim and the northern part of the county; the management is progressive and they are behind Anaheim with their best efforts.
