AGED WOMAN DIES FROM FALL FRIDAY The death of Mrs. Antje Seivers, 86, occurred last evening the result of internal injuries suffered when she fell down the basement steps at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman W. Cordes, 218 West South-st. Friday afternoon about one o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted at the Huddel chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Pargee, of Orange officiating. Burial will occur in the Anaheim cemetery. Mrs. Severs was a native of Germany, but came with her husband, who was a sailor to America in 1887, settled in Yutan, Neb., and one year later moved to Bender, Neb. Her husband died about 19 years ago. Three years ago she came with her daughter, Mrs. Cordes, to Anaheim. Mrs. Severs was a consistent Christian woman and was a member of Zion Lutheran church. Three children survive, Mrs. Cordes of Anaheim; Mrs. C. Paulison, of Long Beach; and Mrs. Carl Todt, of Woodlake, Minn. Three sons and one daughter preceded their mother in death. She was taken to the hospital immediately after her fall, where it was found one arm was broken, the other one injured, her nose broken and internal injuries sustained. Her death came peacefully at 6:45 last evening. RICHWOAN IS HEROINE RUTTE, Mont., July 10—Mrs. Percy Rockefeller, daughter-in-law of the late William Rockefeller, was the means of rescuing a party marooned on Mount Washington, including her three children, when she spent hours in a heavy snowstorm gathering wood for a fire with which to guide others to the spot. Others in the party included the Right Hon. Arthur Child Villiers, second son of the Earl of Jersey; Rudolph Vlesch, of Seattle, traffic manager of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Railway; and Mrs. Harry E. Will return by motor with Mr. Newson's brother and family who contemplate making California their home. The E. N. Dunbars will motor thru the state to points in the north. They will visit in Fresno on their way up and then expect to camp at Yosemite and other places of interest along the way to Sacramento. Mrs. Emma Barnes and daughter Marvel, of San Bedro, are guests for the week of their father and sister, Mrs. M. E. Hart, and Miss Mae Hart of Florence-ave. Out of town visitors at the various homes the past week are: Lawrence Warne and family of Moor Park, who are the guests of Bud Warne and wife of North Cypress, Mr. and Mrs. C. Huskison of Colton were guests of friends here Wednesday; Mr. and Mrs. CarlBaldwin of Everett, Wash., were at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everet Sutton, and Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson are entertaining Mr. Anderson's brother and family from Klamath Falls, Ore. Mr. and Mrs. Art Miller have just returned from an extended trip to the northern part of the state. While they visited the Yosemite Valley going on to Place county on a visit to the Feather Fork Gold Gravel company mine on the Feather river, Mr. Miller has large interests in this mine. Mrs. C. L. Crumrine and daughter Pauline left Saturday for a two-week stay in a heavy snowstorm gathering wood for a fire with which to guide others to the spot. Others in the party included the Right Hon.
