CHAMPIONSHIP Another championship of Orange-co goes to the Anaheim high school girls, this time basepair. At a meeting last evening or principals and women coaches of the county, it was agreed Anaheim will not have to play another game for the title. Huntington Beach only lost one game in the league and that was to Anaheim. The other schools, lost two games to the locals. Orange dropped out of second place and a game was scheduled between Huntington Beach and Santa Ana, but as the Santa Ana team forfeited the game, the second place goes to the Beach team. The Santa Ana Monogram club will present the local girls with a silver loving cup. Letters and sweaters are to be awarded the girls. Miss Irene Jacques will issue the awards to the following girls: Captain, Mae Requarth; manager, Alta Chritton; Irma Young, Evelyn Cordes, Mary Poyet, Madaline Hartman, Grace Holdsworth, Katherine Huarte, Milfred Dickenson, Katherine Carner, Frances Adams, Velma Cook. Kroeger Not Seriously Injured In Collision Louis Kroeger of East Center-st., who was injured in an accident at the intersection of Placentia-ave. and Sycamore-st. yesterday afternoon, was reported improving this morning. It is stated that he spent a restful night. He sustained a gash in the head which curled the flesh to the bone, and a cut in the knee. Physicians do not regard the injuries as serious. Sell 2-3 of 100 Lots In Monte Vista Tract Two-thirds of the lots in the Monte Vista tract have been sold and homebuilders are getting busy. This was announced today from the office of Walsh & Williams on the tract. These men, who are cooperating with the J. T. Lyons Realty Co., in disposal of the subdivision are the first to locate an office on the ground in Anaheim and have demonstrated its practicability, as they have been selling lots like hot cakes. "We know we have the best locations in the city for the money—as we are selling lots as low as $1000, and east fronts at $1250," says Mr. Walsh. "We expect to clean up the remainder in a very brief time as the restrictions and everything else for a most desirable residence section are right." FINED FOR SPEEDING Louis McKellan and Joe Galley were arraigned before Judge Kuchel this morning on the charge of speeding. They were fined $5 each. Sam La Porte, charged with cutting the button, was arraigned yesterday afternoon and fined $2.50.
