SANTA FE, 'April 28.—(Spl.) Mr. and Mrs. H. Schryer and family entertained Mrs. Alvin Schryer and daughters, Viola and Marie, Wednesday.
The Fraternal Brotherhood lodge of Olinda enjoyed a large attendance Tuesday night and had as their speaker of the evening Supreme President Batchlor of Los Angeles. Out of town members present were Mr. and Mrs. Ring of Santa Ana, Miss Olive Gale and Bernice Bacon of Yorba Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Templeton of Anaheim. Everyone enjoying dancing and chatting, later light refreshments of ice cream and cakes was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Andrews spent Wednesday evening with Mr. and J. Boyle of Buena Park.
Mr. Raymond Jones is visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Jones and family during his wife's absence visiting at Long Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Andy Lyle and family were Anaheim show visitors Wednesday evening.
Mrs. R. F. Jones and daughter, Sadie, were Anaheim and Fullerton shoppers Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bowe and family of the Santa Fe lease will soon move to their new home on the General Petroleum where Mr. Bowe is now employed.
News was received from relatives of Clifford McCullock who is under a specialist's care at the Good Samaritan hospital, Los Angeles of his slow recovery, decotors saying he had double pneumonia.
Mr. Willis Evans, Raymond Jones and Earl Johnson attended the 6 o'clock supper at the Elks home Wednesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. B. Walkup and family are sporting in a new Chandler.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Schryer and daughter, Mrs. Jack Andrews, spent Thursday with Mrs. B. Gale of Yorba Linda.

IL—PLUMBING CONTRACT WORK Corrections and additions to the following specifications:
1. Water Service: The plumbing contractor is to run his supply from outside of foundation wall where directed to supply all fixtures, etc., as required. Owner will make connections from supply to tank.
2. The Plumbing Contractor is to run gas piping for heating system as shown on foundation plan. Starting at meter pit below grade lines, run thru foundation wall; run branches to all heaters, kitchenette, etc., as required, sizes as marked on plans. All piping to be black iron screwed together with red lead and proven tight by air test. Grade all lines back to meter and provide a cock for removal of condensation.
ALTERNATE FIGURES Plumbers who wish may submit figures for a Steam System of Heating as follows; same is to be considered as an alternate to be added to the original Plumbing Contract Price.
The system of steam heating to be considered is to be A ONE-PIPE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OF HEATING. Contractors bidding on this system of heating are to submit their plans and specifications showing the lay-out and outlining the equipment proposed to be installed. Also they are to include in the figure the cost of constructing a boiler room of sufficient size surrounded by concrete walls and metal炉丝 and plaster ceiling; also boiler fine and other work necessary and incidental to the completion of the Steam Heating system as proposed.
Each contractor will be required to deposit Ten ($10.00) dollars on plans taken which deposit will be refunded when plans are returned in good condition.

MANILA, P. L., April 28. — The Philippine Islands were bone dry to-day as a result of liquor regulations placed in effect by the island government.
It marked the first time since American occupation of the islands that liquor has not been openly obtainable.
